"GRAND" DAUGHTER
Today we had a guest- our grand daughter! The relationship bet a grand child & grand parents must be experienced to be understood! No words can convey the feelings that we go thru just to have her with us even if it is for a day! It is truly a 'grand' feeling, unique and incomparable to anything else. I think there is the genesis of the nomenclature.
Our whole day revolves around her- what she wants to do, what she wants to eat and how best the few hours that we have can best be utilised!
There are times when I have driven to Chembur to pick her in the morning and driven her back in the evening- nothing is too much or too little where she is concerned!
She is a kid now, but hopefully as she grows she will understand our feelings and one day reciprocate in equal measure! As of now, we are happy with whatever we get!
